Master Scot Strachan
6th Dan World Taekwondo Federation Black Belt Master
Master Strachan started studying martial arts when he was 13 years old. He practiced Judo and Karate until he was introduced to Taekwondo at 18.
He trained at Yuedo College under the guidance of Master Sun S. Choi. He started teaching Taekwondo in 1989 and opened his first school in 1994.
Master Strachan has more than 20 years experience in Brazilian Jiujitsu. He currently teaches Brazilian Jiujitsu at Squamish Martial Arts.
Master Michelle Park
5th Dan World Taekwondo Federation Black Belt
Master Park’s first exposure to Taekwondo was as a child in Korea where the art was taught in elementary school. She moved to Canada at the age of 13.
She studied Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Master Marcus Soares. In 1999, she was the first woman in Canada to earn a Blue Belt in Brazilian Jiujitsu.
